Just wanted to say Thank You for a wonderful product. I purchased the Basic Scent Elimination System model 01101 from Walmart in mid Sept.

I was sitting on a bucket inside a tree line overlooking a wheat field on Oct. 27th when this buck came around the bend. I had seen him on the 22nd but he was 50 yards away then. I had cut a couple of shooting lanes in the saplings in front of me and when he stopped in my first opening I drew and released only to watch my arrow deflect on a small branch and hit the dirt next to the buck who was standing 10 yards away.

I nocked another arrow as he stepped into my next lane an once again I drew, settled the pin, and released the arrow. I heard it hit him. I watched as the buck slowly walked away, he would stop and go but finally I could see him no longer as night took him away. I waited another 15 minutes and went to find him. I retrieved both of my arrows but could not find the buck.

Afraid to pressure him I went home to wait for morning. I found the blood trail about 100 yards from where I shot him and trailed it another 150 to 200 yards. I found the buck nearly submerged in a creek.

I believe your scent control system helped me to be invisible to him and let me get as close as I did.

The buck has an unofficial gross of 192 7/8 and nets 184 6/8 This is my first year to hunt with a bow.
