Ryan Lenhardt-St. Louis, MO
I am 13 years old and this is my first time I went deer hunting. I was recently hunting in the rifle season opening day in Piedmont, Missouri on private property. I had just got out of a milo field and I decided to walk. Then on the corner of my eye I saw three deer (I couldn't identify them.) So I decided to follow them across the road. When I walked into the woods I sat down to see if I could spot the deer I saw.
Less than five minutes after that I spotted a deer at the bottom of the hill I identified as an 8-point buck. When it was walking away from me I used by QuadGrunter Plus. I used the doe grunt. Much to my surprise the deer came right towards me. When it was in range I shot. The deer just dropped. It weighed 175 pounds.
